Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot on a full-time basis to provide critical medical transport with safety as a core value. You will operate within a team of medical professionals to move customers between locations while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Minimum qualifications include a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, Class II medical, and thousands of flight hours across rotorcraft and turbine platforms.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 helicopter hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• Minimum 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours.
• Weight limit 230 lb (including flight gear).

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with medical team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and required standards.
• Maintain Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info per procedures.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificaten>
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
