Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. Safety is a core pillar as we serve customers in critical care transport missions.

The role requires extensive flight hours and certifications, with a competitive package including sign-on and retention bonuses, plus on‑duty housing. You will operate in a team-based environment across dispatch and flight crews to ensure safe, timely patient transport.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• Minimum 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• Minimum 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• Minimum 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• Minimum 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear).

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
