Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a HAA Pilot for a full-time role based in the United States. You will transport patients with a medical team between locations, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR and company procedures.

You will also maintain necessary documentation and coordinate closely with dispatch and flight crews. Ideal candidates hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a Class II Medical Certificate, with thousands of helicopter hours

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FARs, and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team per change board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

HAA PILOT Full-Time Opportunity

$115,387 - $126,926 including 30% Geo Modifier

Pilot Incentives

• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
