Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Helicopter Pilot for Air Evac Lifeteam to support medical air transportation across locations and facilities. This role emphasizes safety, aircraft readiness, accurate documentation, and team collaboration.

Qualified candidates have extensive helicopter flight hours, instrument rating, and ongoing training obligations, with a comprehensive compensation package including sign-on and retention bonuses, plus housing support.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating preferred.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, including FAR/Air Evac Lifeteam requirements and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team per change board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Salary range $115,387 - $126,926 including 30% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
