Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services with a 7/7 schedule. The role includes a $15K sign-on bonus and retention bonuses, plus on-duty housing and a salary range with a geo modifier.

Responsibilities include coordinating with a medical team, ensuring aircraft readiness, and maintaining regulatory documentation. Required are FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, and flight hours milestones.

Qualifications

• FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter Instrument Rating is required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and ensure cleanliness and compliance with manuals and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following change-board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Salary range $115,387 - $126,926 including 30% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/ Equivalent or Higher
