Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Quincy, IL seeks a full-time HAA Pilot to provide medical air transportation, joining a team that prioritizes safety and patient care.

Applicant must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a FAA Class II Medical Certificate, with extensive flight hours including PIC and turbine time. On-site housing and a 7-on/7-off schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate.
• Must have a helicopter instrument rating.
• Must hold a FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum flight hours required: 2,000 total, 1,500 helicopter, 1,000 helicopter PIC, 500 turbine hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and requirements.
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilots and teams following the change board.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring aHelicopter Pilotto provide medical air transportation services for Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety isa key pillar of ourservices.

Incentives

• Salary range $110,949 - $122,044 including 25% Geo Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours

• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear
