United Petfood Producers USA, Inc. in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Line Puller to support packaging and warehouse operations. The role requires operating forklifts, maintaining packaging inventories, and moving finished pallets to storage while adhering to GMP standards.

Shifts are 12 hours, rotating days and nights (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), with a partial shift on Wednesdays. Candidates must lift 50 lbs, work in hot/cold environments, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation certification required or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to operate stretch wrap machines.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs consistently during the shift.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Communicate with Warehouse and Production Supervisors regarding packaging required for daily production runs.
• Maintain appropriate packaging inventory levels throughout the shift.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to deliver packaging to production lines.
• Remove loaded pallets from production lines to warehouse.
• Supply packaging materials as needed and maintain pallet supplies.
• Accurately complete all required documentation.
• Advise Warehouse and Production Managers when packaging inventories are low.
• Report unsafe conditions in both plant and warehouse areas.
• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting equipment issues as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and implement ideas in assigned area.
• Follow and maintain GMP standards at all times.
• Participate in yearly inventory process and warehouse sanitation tasks.
