Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC in Hanover, PA, seeks a Lineperson to move product from packing to warehouse and assist in line setup at the start of each day and during product changes. Responsibilities include scanning, material orders, and maintaining packing area readiness.

The role requires basic math/reading skills, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and safe handling of up to 60 lb skids. Strong English reading/comprehension is needed.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• One month of on-the-job training covers packing procedures and product storage locations.
• Moderate lifting up to 25 lbs and pulling/pumping jacks up to 250 lbs.
• Must read and understand English communications.

Responsibilities

• Move product from packing area to warehouse using jacks with product.
• Scan finished product into inventory with scanning equipment.
• Order materials for packers from material handler.
• Set up mats and cartons for packers before production begins.
• Prepare packing area for different products and packaging changes.
• Relieve for breaks and lunches as needed.
• Maintain floor and equipment cleanliness in packing room weekly.
• Ensure accurate records of items moved.
• Work collaboratively with diverse teams and other duties as assigned.
