Utz Quality Foods, Inc. in Hanover, PA is seeking a Production Utility to support our packaging team, inspect products, and ensure quality at the station.

You will move products to the warehouse, scan finished goods, set up mats and cartons, and assist with sanitation duties in a fast-paced environment.

This full‑time role requires standing constantly, lifting up to 50 lbs, and fluency in English or Spanish. Join a dedicated team delivering high‑quality snacks.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to fluently communicate in and read English or Spanish.
• Must be willing and able to stand 100% of the time
• Regular lifting (50lbs).
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, pivot regularly.
• Ability to be trained to be the backup lineperson and packer.
• Ability to be trained to use a hand jack.

Responsibilities

• Inspects packaged items and alerts machine operator or shift supervisor of any changes.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
• Moves product from packing area to warehouse by pulling jacks filled with product.
• Accurately scans finished product into inventory with use of scanning equipment.
• Sets up mats and cartons for packers before production begins each day.
• Prepares packing area when packaging different products.
• Helps relieve for breaks and lunches.
• Must be able to safely maneuver and lift up to 50lbs.
• Understands how to operate the Shrink Wrapper.
• Helps clean floor and equipment in packing room weekly in addition to other Sanitation duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
