Job Summary

Would you like to apply your skills in an innovative production facility? If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Line Operator. This position will be based out of our Extrusion plant located in Walla Walla, WA. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will operate extrusion machines and related equipment for fittings production. These activities are to be conducted while ensuring safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals.

Position Offers

• Pay: $21.50 per hour
• Full-Time, Permanent Position with Comprehensive Benefits
• 8 paid holidays annually

• Work schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts; 7pm - 7am

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies, and housekeeping
• Perform inspection activities using PI tables, micrometers, and ovality gauges
• Conduct skin testing and impact testing for quality assurance
• Identify and resolve product quality issues, investigate non-conforming products
• Adjust extrusion process parameters such as wall thickness, temperatures, and diameter
• Maintain and clean line equipment, including vents
• Assist with production material trials and new product development
• Monitor output and run conditions to meet standards
• Complete accurate documentation and meet quality requirements
• Perform other duties as delegated

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use basic hand tools and operate a forklift
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Working Conditions

• Requires mobility, long periods of standing, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, lifting up to 75 lbs
• Fast-paced environment requiring sensory attention
• Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and sharp objects affecting safety
