Job summary

Orotex Corp in Novi, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated Injection Machine Operator for 1st shift. You will run and monitor injection molding equipment, inspect parts, and package products to meet customer specifications.

The role requires adherence to quality standards and production targets. The position offers a full-time schedule (M-F, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm) in a temperature-controlled facility with safety gear provided and opportunities for professional growth within a global manufacturing

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong spoken/written English required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• 1 year of plant experience preferred.
• Previous knowledge of injection molding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for defects (shorts, flash, etc.).
• Package product per customer specifications.
• Operate injection molding machines to produce parts.
• Meet production goals and quality standards.
• Follow all work instructions and safety rules.

Purpose of the Position

To operate the Injection Machine line efficiently and accurately. Ensure manufactured products are inspected and packaged according to customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for defects (i.e. shorts, flash, etc.)
• Package product per custom requirements and packing specifications
• Operate injection machine to produce products
• Ensure production goals are met
• Carefully follow all work instructions
• Complete daily production and quality reports
• Accurately label all completed parts
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Follow all Orotex policies and safety rules, other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to understand spoken and written English
• Ability to work overtime and needed
• 1 year previous plant experience preferred
• Previous knowledge of injection molding preferred
• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, walk for 8 plus hours daily
• Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects
• Ability to lift 50 plus pounds repeatedly
