Job summary

Omega Plastics Inc in Clinton Township, MI, is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri with some Saturdays), 11:30pm-8:00am, on-site. The position is hourly and full-time, within Manufacturing Production / Distribution.

You will handle parts, operate molds, and support quality and secondary operations to produce high-quality parts, with attention to safety and regulatory requirements, including ISO13485 for medical clients.

Qualifications

• Plastic Injection Machine Operator experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and communicate the purpose, principles, and vision of Omega Plastics.
• Remove parts from process.
• Part quality: attention to detail during part production or secondary work.
• Receive training and follow operator instructions during molding or assembly.
• Communicates when a part does not match approved sample.
• Install preloads or other items as necessary for the molding process.
• Trim or assemble or otherwise prepare parts to specification.
• Package parts in correct fashion and to correct count.
• Record job specifics and scrap totals on tally sheets.
• Utilize computer for time recording and job assignment accounting.
• Clean work area.
• Awareness of regulatory and customer requirements as it pertains to Omega’s clients, especially for Omega’s medical clients (ref. ISO13485).

Job Summary:

Essential Functions:

Workperformed in an office and manufacturing plant environment. Normal mobility tomove aroundanoffice environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.Frequently exposed to varyingtemperatures within plant depending upon external weather conditions.Frequently walks,stands,grips/grasps, bends/stoops, crouches, and lifts and carries up to fifty-five(55) pounds routinelythroughout the day.

Thisrole is required to be on-site 5-6days at the Clinton Twp,MIlocation.

Qualifications

• Plastic Injection Machine Operator experience is a plus

Compensation

Theexpected pay range for this position is $16 - $17/hour. This shift qualifies for a shift premium.
