Job Description

The Line Operator is responsible for producing resin compound by operating all aspects of the production line, including preparing recipes, loading the horizontal mixer, running the extruder, launching to silos, or unloading products into super sacks and relocating them. An employee trained as a Line Operator with at least 2 years of experience may become a Senior Operator.

Job Duties

1. Read formulas and production orders.
2. Start up the production line and cutter.
3. Coordinate with mix preparation and line feeding.
4. Manage production changes.
5. Properly mix materials.
6. Load the horizontal mixer.
7. Feed the mix into extruder feeders.
8. Visually inspect the product.
9. Manage extruder and feeders.
10. Clean extruders.
11. Operate forklift.
12. Recognize different materials.
13. Weigh materials.
14. Launch finished products into silo after quality approval.
15. Unload finished products from silos into super sacks and relocate with forklift.
