Job summary

Chugach Electric offers a leadership role in Home Line Operations, managing maintenance and construction on transmission and distribution lines. You will oversee field crews, schedule work, and ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency across activities in Alaska, with strong emphasis on outage planning and budget administration.

You will lead a team under a collective bargaining environment, collaborate with multiple departments and external partners, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or related discipline.
• OSHA Excavation & Trench certification preferred.
• Hazardous waste operations and emergency response certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and manage maintenance and construction activities for transmission and distribution lines.
• Review work crews and conduct field audits and inspections for safety and quality.
• Develop and manage manpower utilization plans for outages and events.
• Prepare and present capital and operating budgets for division and contracts.
• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
