Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in production, manufacturing, or food processing environment preferred.
• Experience in equipment operation, material handling, or line coordination is a plus.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and use of touch-screen systems.
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified is required after hire.
• Leadership ability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Protect yourself and others by following SAFE Process and safety inspections, maintaining equipment safety.
• Protect the customer by ensuring product quality and adherence to GMPs, sanitation guidelines, HACCP, and inline sanitation/inspection.
• Lead and train team members in safety, sanitation, and job duties; ensure upgrades are trained and qualified.
• Maintain clear communication across shifts using email, log books, and notes.
• Monitor line operations to meet production schedule, adjust for material changes, and manage line checks and waste.
• Assist maintenance in identifying and resolving line equipment problems to protect production capacity.
• Record production data and line conditions accurately on paper or computer; audit data for completeness.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in training processes; uphold SQF 2000.
