Job summary

Basic American Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all food safety and quality activities at the Rexburg manufacturing facility. You will lead QA staff and production teams to ensure HACCP, SOPs, SSOPs and cGMP compliance across all labs and lines.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining lab practices, training technicians, validating corrective actions, and driving cost reductions while maintaining product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required with five to seven years related experience and/or training.
• HACCP certification and SQF Practitioner certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and secure all aspects of food safety and quality from raw materials to finished product.
• Lead QA staff and plant teams to ensure HACCP, SOPs, SSOPs and cGMPs are followed, recorded and maintained.
• Develop, train, and sustain Good Laboratory Practices; ensure testing is accurate and consistent across labs.
