Line Leader (High Speed Machine Operator)

**Job Requirements:**

Position Summary: The primary purpose of this role is to lead one or multiple production lines and/or work groups to ensure a safe, quality meat product is produced. This involves setting up, adjusting, troubleshooting food production and packaging machinery, and monitoring product quality to established standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list is not all-inclusive and may be expanded. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating the production operations of a line with 4 or more people.
  • Training line personnel to maintain high skill levels, work standards, and schedules.
  • Completing machine setup, tooling changes, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintaining line efficiencies and standards to meet quality and customer requirements.
  • Reviewing daily production and implementing continuous improvement procedures.
  • Maintaining quality and production documentation.
  • Performing light maintenance and troubleshooting of machines and equipment.
  • Ensuring a safe and quality food product, reporting safety or quality issues promptly.

Supervisory Responsibility: Yes

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's preferred), 3-5 years manufacturing experience, 2+ years leadership experience, knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and industrial equipment operation. Strong communication, math skills, and physical ability to perform job duties are required.
