Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking a Line Leader in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. In this role, you will direct and mentor an assembly team, ensuring safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met. Responsibilities include developing production checklists and training team members. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and previous assembly or leadership experience. The shift is from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, and the wage is $25.25/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, sit and reach throughout shift.
• Ability to lift or exert force between 10-50lbs as needed.
• Ability to use hand tools, scales, label machines, fillers and other equipment.

Line Leader Responsibilities

• Direct, coach and mentor assigned assembly team to assist in meeting performance metrics
• Ensure safety, quality, service (delivery), and cost objective are met
• Develop, maintain and improve pre and post production checklists detailing steps to startup, run, and shutdown of line
• Provide visual confirmation of items by position at line start up
• Supervise and train pump/cap table team to assist in completing line tasks
• Set up, maintain and troubleshoot filler, monitoring consumables/spares
• Perform weight checks in production
• Clean and sanitize filler, setup (changeover) and start production
• Maintain master downtime for team
• Cross train with Palletizers to cover absences
