Embecta Corp. is seeking a Line Lead for the Warehouse on the night shift in Holdrege, NE. You will monitor, direct, and train associates, ensuring strict adherence to controlled documents and standard work.

You will coordinate with other line leads, lead root cause investigations, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and production goals. This role requires leadership and hands-on coverage when needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years operating powered industrial trucks.
  • 3+ years using ERP, WMS or MES systems.
  • 3+ years working in a warehouse environment.
  • 1+ year experience working in manufacturing environment and/or for Embecta/BD.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors team members to ensure compliance to controlled documents.
  • Provides work direction to associates in assigned area(s).
  • Directs training for associates in their assigned area(s).
  • Responsible for all process documentation accuracy, completion and handoff.
  • Sets work assignment/direction of associates as needed.
  • Line Leads interact with other Line Leads to share best practices and ensure smooth shift transitions.
  • Responds to issues, leads root cause and corrective action investigations.
  • Enables development and training of associates as needed.
  • Assists with changes to Standard Work instructions.
  • Proactively addresses problems before production impact.
  • Champions CI changes and ensures implementation in area.
  • Must be able to perform all department operations in absence of floaters.
  • Must obtain necessary certifications within one year.
  • Supports safety and production goals.
  • Identifies and corrects safety conditions.
  • Maintains a clean, safe environment.
  • Maintains open communication between associates and management.
  • Holds associates accountable with Team Leader guidance.
  • Leads by example with focus on safety and quality.
  • Maintains regular, punctual attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
