ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors seeks a manufacturing team member capable of performing all line positions and leading by example. Responsibilities include training, line scheduling, 5S compliance, and rapid problem solving to protect production flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 3 - 5 years manufacturing/logistics leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Aspiration and drive to grow and develop.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient with computer software – Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Provide training to team members on new and existing standard operating procedures.
• Able to perform all positions on the line and function as a working production team member when needed.
• Arrange OT, organize call-out coverage, and line scheduling.
• Ensure workstations meet Safety and 5S requirements and participate in workstation assessments.
• Conduct audits and lead rapid problem solving for the assigned cell; stop the line if abnormalities are found and escalate.
• Coach and develop team members and promote a positive work environment.
• Ensure associate compliance to Production Basics (Training, 5S, Equipment Function, etc.) and monitor hourly production rates vs schedule; escalate if behind.
• Identify defective products quickly, limit production loss, and perform first level repairs; investigate downtime.
