Job summary

Andros Group is seeking an HSL Line Lead to oversee plant lines on the production floor, ensuring continuous, smooth operations. You will review daily plans, coordinate with Quality and Maintenance, and train staff to meet safety and quality standards.

You will monitor run efficiency, change-overs, waste, and line readiness, perform routine machine checks, and lead cleanup and setup for shifts while supporting breaks and coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to identify safety warnings and start/stop controls on packaging machines.
• Ability to train packers and machine operators for efficient duties.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge (5S) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee line activities to ensure smooth production.
• Review daily plans and ensure employees understand requirements.
• Verify line movement and halt for quality or safety issues; coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supervisors.
• Ensure adequate training for line workers and address training issues.
• Lead line change-overs, end-of-production tasks, and line clearance activities.
• Monitor weights, pouch quality, and packaging processes.
• Establish online inspections with the packaging crew when quality problems arise.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor part replacements as needed.
• Lubricate equipment as required and support line readiness for shifts.
