Position Summary

Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Line Lead supports daily production operations by setting up and managing assigned operation lines to complete specific customer orders. This role provides direct oversight to operation line employees, ensures productivity and quality standards are met, and addresses operational issues to support timely order completion.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset to daily operations. They are organized, safety-conscious, and capable of guiding a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Set up and manage assigned operation lines to complete specific customer orders.
• Oversee and support operation line employees to ensure productivity, accuracy, and quality.
• Ensure employees are properly positioned, prepared, and following assigned duties.
• Monitor operation line performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operation line issues in a timely manner; elevate concerns as needed.
• Perform recordkeeping duties, including inventory tracking and order documentation.
• Train, coach, and support new and existing operation line employees.
• Collaborate with other Line Leads to coordinate workflow and ensure order timelines are met.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate challenges or barriers impacting the operation line to the Warehouse Coordinator.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Ability to follow all safety requirements and company procedures, including food safety standards.
• Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety vest, back supports, and warehouse footwear.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to complete required documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide and support operation line employees.

The pay for this role in the state of CA is $20-$24/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on candidate’s experience, qualifications and/or other determining factors.
