Description
Become a success story in our Fabrication Department.
Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Starting pay: $20.00/HR and up based on EXPERIENCE and SKILL SET in FABRICATION environment / ERP experience required
Role and responsibility as follow:
- Work as team leader responsible for the team’s assembly of products on one or more assembly lines.
- Line Lead can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process.
- Coordinate tasks with the Assembly Lead and Supervisor. May rotate through all or most roles as an assembly auditor.
- Participate in making decisions affecting the work of others in the assembly line process.
- Perform quality checks on products and parts, inspecting and approving both product and procedure.
- Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
- Review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
- Determine work assignments with Assembly Lead and Supervisor, applying skills to appropriate work centers.
- Coordinate assemblers and train employees on job procedures.
- Maintain production equipment and machinery.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
Requirements and Knowledge
- Must be professional in manner and able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Completed training program.
- Ability to train others on proper use of tools, fixtures, and machines required of the line.
- Monitor and assess performance to improve efficiency and quality on the assembly line.
- Understanding of work-related documents and instructions.
- Experience in teaching and training others on work instructions.
- Working knowledge of inventory controls and systems, including scanners and printers.
Line Lead Responsibilities
- Lead line and processes aligned with company goals, vision, and quality policy.
- Support safety culture and participate in safety activities, including basic first aid, emergency response, and safety protocols.
Technical Skills
- Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality and performance.
- Control operations of equipment or systems.
- Identify causes of errors and decide corrective actions.
System Skills
- Determine system functionality and effects of environmental changes.
- Identify performance indicators and implement improvements.
Resource Management Skills
- Motivate, develop, and direct team members.
- Manage time effectively for oneself and others.

Qualifications
No prior terminations for misconduct. Good attendance required. Previous manufacturing experience preferred, especially with stainless steel or metal fabrication (sheet metal preferred). Grinding and finishing experience is a plus. Steady employment record preferred to ensure ongoing investment in skills and leadership development.
