Job summary

Sabrosura Foods is seeking a Full Time Manual Labor worker in Monroe, WI to support packaging lines and finished goods storage. The role requires adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and professional conduct in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include staging for packaging, coordinating line readiness, operating forklift and pallet jack, maintaining packaging supplies inventory and ensuring accurate recordkeeping while following safety protocols and PPE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Must adhere to GMP, sanitation, safety and timekeeping rules.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and stage products for packaging and store finished goods.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack with proper certification.
• Maintain inventory knowledge of packaging supplies.
• Keep work area clean and comply with GMPs and PPE protocols.
• Report unsafe conditions to plant management and perform accurate recordkeeping.

Job Summary:

This position involves staging product for packaging along each line: boxes, packaging, storage of finished product. It anticipates the lines needs to continue the packaging process according to the production schedules. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules.

Job Responsibilities:

• Scheduling Responsibilities including understanding what each line is scheduled to run, staging, remove supplies to storage, place finished product in cooler
• Operation of and certification for forklift and pallet jack operation
• Inventory knowledge of packaging supplies
• Strict adherence to GMPs; Keep area clean
• Strict adherence to Safety/PPE protocols and procedures; reporting unsafe conditions to plant management

• Strong listening skills and ask questions to understand instructions for work-related activities
• Takes initiative to complete tasks
• Works as a team with positive attitude and behaviors

Education and Experience:

Physical Requirements:

• Moderately strenuous work involving standing, walking with frequent bending, twisting, pushing and squatting; Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally kneeling to inspect and clean equipment and use of ladders
• Fast-paced clean environment; frequently cool, wet, and moderate noise along with working with chemicals
