Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Line Haul Supervisor to oversee freight operations, mentor drivers, and drive on-time delivery goals. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with drivers, and the ability to leverage technology to improve performance.

Responsibilities include supervising the line haul team, maintaining safety, and ensuring service center standards are met while working with central managers to align with company objectives.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years working operations experience preferably in transportation.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AS400, Microsoft Office, DYMS and BLU systems.
• Knowledge of general DOT regulations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Mentor drivers and supervise the line haul operation.
• Monitor service center lanes to ensure timely freight delivery.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations and DOT rules.
• Directly manages, supervises and assigns tasks to drivers to meet goals.
• Use OD’s technology to monitor freight movement and keep stakeholders informed.
