Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 4 years of construction experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as Line & Grade Instrument Man I or similar role.
• Comfort with measurements, tolerances, geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate physical site dimensions and controls.
• Layout building locations, structures, and dimensions per plans.
• Coordinate with Party Chief, Superintendent and Foremen on layout.
• Set up surveying equipment and verify data accuracy.
• Communicate changes and maintain field notes and drawings.
