Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. is seeking a Line & Grade Instrument Man II to ensure precise layout and coordination with project leadership.

You will work closely with the Party Chief, Superintendent, and Foremen to install layout on sites and support field constructability and tolerance management. Role demands careful measurement, collaboration across trades, and a proactive approach to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 4 years’ construction experience.
• 2 years’ experience as Line & Grade Instrument Man I.
• Ability to work within a team environment and handle measurements and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all physical site dimensions and controls.
• Layout of building location, structures and dimensions.
• Coordinate with client to define primary survey points and transfer building control.
• Establish secondary control and communicate procedures to crews.
• Provide data to Party Chief for defining points in data collectors.
