Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Proficient in CAD and comfortable designing tooling to be machined in-house.
  • Able to write the software side of a test rig - Python or equivalent - and work with sensors.
  • Fluent in coordinating mechanical, electrical, and firmware needs on test stations.

Responsibilities

  • Build the machines that build the Mako.
  • Design fixtures, jigs, racks and handling equipment for the line and tooling needs.
  • Build the machines that prove it, including end-of-line testers and data interfaces.
  • Decide what good means with PFMEAs and control plans, and capture process data.
  • Automate where volume justifies it with robotic cells and automation.
