Job summary

VSS International, Inc. is seeking a Line Driver to operate company vehicles outdoors on road construction crews in San Benito County. The role involves transporting asphalt from plants to projects and adhering to safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, willingness to work overtime, and the ability to perform pre-/post-trip inspections with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL may be required depending on vehicle type.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport asphalt from plant to project or staging location.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Assist passengers with safe boarding and exit, ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain clean, fueled, and presentable vehicle interiors/exteriors.
• Complete trip logs and reports accurately and on time.
• Report defects, incidents, or hazards to supervision.
