Job summary

The City of Warrensburg's Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a part-time Line Dancing Instructor to lead a 5-week class on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, starting September 8 and ending October 6. The instructor should be highly organized, energetic, and capable of adapting to patrons’ needs and abilities.

Independent instructional role under the Parks & Recreation Supervisor of Programs & Events, with emphasis on engaging learners in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching line dancing preferred.
• Ability to adapt to patrons’ needs and abilities.
• Must be highly organized and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 5-week line dancing class on Tuesdays 6:30–7:30 pm (Sept 8–Oct 6).
• Teach a variety of line dances across genres.
• Work independently under supervision of Parks & Recreation Supervisor.

The City of Warrensburg’s Parks & Recreation Department is accepting applications for part-time Line Dancing Instructors. This position is performed in a 5-week class held on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm- 7:30 pm starting September 8th and ending on October 6th, teaching a variety of line dances with different genres of music. Must be a highly organized, high-energy teacher with self-motivation and enthusiasm, with an ability to adapt to patrons’ needs and abilities. Works independently at a skilled level under the general supervision of the Parks and Recreation Supervisor of Programs & Events.
