Job summary

City of Warrensburg, MO is seeking a part-time Social Dance Instructor for a 5-week class held on Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, September 10 through October 8. Classes teach Two Step, Waltz, Swing, and Salsa.

The instructor should be highly organized, energetic, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to adapt to patrons’ needs. Work independently under the Parks & Recreation Supervisor of Programs & Events.

• Must be a highly organized, high-energy teacher with self-motivation and enthusiasm.
• Ability to adapt to patrons’ needs and abilities.
• Works independently at a skilled level under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Teach four popular dances (Two Step, Waltz, Swing, Salsa) in a 5-week class.
• Conduct classes on Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
• Complete online application and undergo background investigation.

The City of Warrensburg’s Parks & Recreation Department is accepting applications for part-time Social Dance Instructors. This position is performed in a 5-week class held on Thursdays from 6:30 pm- 7:30 pm starting September 10th and ending October 8th, teaching four popular dances such as Two Step, Waltz, Swing, and Salsa.
