Funlab, the world’s premier creator of competitive socializing experiences, is expanding its footprint to the United States with Holey Moley in Houston. We’re seeking Line Cooks who are passionate about people and delivering memorable guest experiences in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport.
• Interacting with a diverse range of guests including teens, kids and adults.
• Team-driven focus with the ability to motivate yourself and others.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand long periods.
• Flexible schedule; must be available on weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with energy and top-tier service mindset.
• Deliver food and beverages throughout the venue, including multiple bars and event spaces.
• Drive sales on every shift – upsell and engage guests to hit targets.
• Understand daily goals and challenges, work with the team to succeed.
• Keep the venue well-stocked and ready to impress at all times.
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and teammates safe.
• Go above and beyond and anticipate guests’ needs.

What you'll do:

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset
• Deliver food and beverages throughout the venue, including multiple bars and event spaces
• Drive sales on every shift – smash targets through upselling, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with your team to succeed
• Take pride in your venue, making sure it’s well-stocked and ready to impress at all times
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe
• Take the opportunities to go above and beyond and anticipate our guests’ needs

What you've got:

• Uniqueness and a passion for fun
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport
• A love of interacting with a diverse range of guests - teens, kids and adults
