Air Ventures LLC is seeking a Line Cook for Lucca Restaurant & Bar at BOS Airport. This part-time role requires weekend availability and offers hands-on food preparation, adherence to recipes, and teamwork with service staff.

Responsibilities include following sanitation standards, proper food handling, and ensuring timely meal preparation to support airport operations. A High School Diploma and 2–3 years kitchen experience are expected; ServSafe is preferred.

We are Immediately hiring for the positions of Line Cook for our restaurant in the BOS Airport, Lucca Restaurant & Bar. Must be able to work on weekends.

Summary/Objective

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing the food to be served, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. The Line Cook is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud.

Essential Functions

Prepares the food served using established production procedures and systems.

Determines amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems.

Ensures proper serving of food for tray line or dining room.

Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.

Observes proper food preparation and handling techniques.

Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item.

Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.

Correctly prepares all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders.

Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food are preserved.

Apportions food for serving.

Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.

Completes food temperature checks before service.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma.

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a restaurant kitchen.

ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required.

Communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must be eligible for and maintain SIDA badge required to work in airport.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Must be at least 18 years of age
