Job summary

Moosehead Hoof & Ladder is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our family-owned restaurant. We offer higher than average wages with full-time positions available, compensation based on skills and experience, and open Tuesday through Saturday 11:30am - 8:00pm.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, stocking the station, following health and safety standards, and collaborating with kitchen staff to cook menu items.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 - 2 years of restaurant cooking required.
• You must be able to work on weekends.
• Have your own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.
• Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
• Report to the kitchen manager and follow instructions.
• Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
• Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
• Stock inventory and supplies.
• Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
