Job summary

Dartcor Enterprises is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items according to our standardized recipes, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation. You’ll join a fast-paced kitchen team and contribute to smooth service. Experience in a professional kitchen and passion for cooking are essential.

Workweek is Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits in a luxurious hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle service periods.
• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and kitchen protocols consistently.
• ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety compliance in food prep areas.
• Follow portion control standards and minimize food waste.
• Cook and plate dishes efficiently while upholding presentation standards.
• Assist with inventory management and notify when supplies are low.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Occasional ordering as needed.
