Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, a growing multi-brand cafe group in the Southeast, seeks a kitchen team member to accurately and efficiently prepare hot menu items and portions for service. You will handle plating and garnishing, ensuring adherence to Ruby Standards and portion sizes.

The role requires at least 1 year of kitchen experience, strong communication, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts. Opportunities for growth and meal benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and front of house crew.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs; stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products and portion food prior to cooking.
• Perform duties in food prep, plating and garnishing of cooked items and garnishes for hot menu items.

Job Summary

Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products as well as prepare and portion food prior to cooking. Responsible for performing other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

• Complies with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members
• Be able to reach, bend stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
