Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel in downtown Dallas, TX, invites applicants for a Line Cook position at Bob's Steak & Chop House. You will prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items and work under the standards of an upscale steakhouse, refining culinary skills and collaborating with a talented kitchen team.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of culinary experience, are able to stand for long shifts, and are flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of culinary experience preferred; experience working at one or more kitchen stations.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, knife skills, sanitation, food safety, and proper cooking techniques.
• Ability to stand and remain active for 8+ hours per shift while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items for Bob's Steak & Chop House in a timely manner while prioritizing tasks as needed.
• Operate at least one kitchen station (Grill, Sauté, Broiler, Garde Manger, or other assigned stations).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workstations, food preparation areas, and surrounding kitchen spaces.
• Organize and prepare current and future requisitions to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Communicate menu updates, special requests, and dietary accommodations effectively between shifts.
