The Greenleigh River Oaks in Houston is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare and execute dishes with precision, support mise en place, and contribute to high standards of quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
• Execute food production in a timely manner during service periods.
• Maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and plating of all dishes.
• Set up and maintain assigned workstation with proper mise en place.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment.
• Assist with prep work, inventory organization, and storage as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
• Perform quality checks on dishes before they are served.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
