InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is seeking a dedicated cook to join our high-volume kitchen. You will ensure timely, quality food preparation, maintain strict food safety standards, and support daily kitchen operations in a luxury hotel setting.

The role requires culinary training and several years of kitchen experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to PPE and safety policies. We offer competitive hourly pay and hotel discount programs.

Qualifications

• Completion of a degree or certificate in culinary arts, and five years of experience as a cook or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supports an environment of high efficiency, quality and customer service.
• Maintains knowledge of menus, recipes, food quality standards and regulations.
• Ensures food leaves the kitchen on time and prepared to order.
• Participates in preparation of food items.
• Follows safety, sanitation and health department guidelines.
• Reports inventory shortages and maintains proper food storage.
