Job summary

Covenant Living in Connecticut is seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our upscale dining team serving residents in a senior living community. You will prepare, portion, cook, and present meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events while adhering to recipes and production sheets.

This role offers a stable schedule with 40 guaranteed hours, every other weekend off, and no late nights, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Serv Safe certification preferred.
• 3–4 years of related cooking experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced knife experience and knowledge of safety practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, schedules, and production sheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and planned menus.
• Complete daily prep work and follow production sheets.
• Plate and present food with attention to quality and appearance.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and proper food storage and labeling.
• Support team members and contribute to smooth kitchen operations.
