Joe's Stone Crab - Chicago is hiring Line Cooks to join our team and prepare, produce, and present all menu items to the highest standards. Cooks must be able to read thermometers, follow safety procedures, and maintain speed and accuracy under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a thermometer correctly and efficiently.
• Available to work a variety of hours, including weekends.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests.
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Communicate any food delays or issues to Coordinator.
• Maintain menu item counts and communicate to Management when quantities fall below minimum.
