Job summary

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in California is seeking a professional cook to prepare foods during assigned shifts in accordance with our recipes and standards. You will work with Lead Line Cooks and other team members to ensure a smooth, sanitary operation while maintaining food quality and portion control.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred with 1–2 years as a cook’s apprentice.
• Experience as a cook’s apprentice in a large, full-service hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish food according to recipes and standards.
• Collaborate with team members for a smooth operation on assigned shifts.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards and obtain required certifications.
• Follow recipes and control procedures to ensure consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and meet attendance expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
