Job summary

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in California is seeking a skilled cook to prepare all foods during assigned shifts in line with our recipes and standards. You will work closely with Lead Line Cooks and other team members to ensure a smoothly run operation.

We expect strong organizational and interpersonal skills, adherence to health and sanitation regulations, and a commitment to consistent attendance. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred; 1–2 years as a cook's apprentice is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: One to two years as a cook’s apprentice preferred.
• Special qualifications: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Language: Ability to read and interpret safety rules and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact effectively with the public and Team Members.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food in kitchen preparation per recipes.
• Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
• Maintain compliance with health and sanitation regulations and food safety standards.
• Follow recipes and control procedures.
• Maintain a consistent attendance record.
• Keep a clean, sanitary work area at all times.
