Job summary

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is seeking a cook to prepare and garnish foods according to recipes, while maintaining health and sanitation standards. You will work with leads, servers, dishwashers, and other team members to ensure a smoothly run operation.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to read safety rules and follow procedures. High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED preferred and one to two years experience as a cook’s apprentice in a large, full service hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Language, math, and reasoning abilities as described for effective job performance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food in kitchen according to recipes.
• Interact effectively with the public and team members and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain compliance with health and sanitation standards and food safety certifications.
• Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and regular attendance.
