Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House is seeking responsible BOH staff to support kitchen operations. You will assist with food preparation and side work, ensuring all dishes meet Ruth's Chris quality standards and timing requirements.

You will monitor stock, restock as needed, and communicate clearly with the Chef and team during service periods. Candidates must be able to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced, loud environment while maintaining strict cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50–100 pounds, stand for up to four hours, and perform bending and reaching.
• Must communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Must be able to distinguish flavors and odors to ensure food quality.
• Must operate in a high-noise, cold/hot environment with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff in food preparation and side work.
• Prep and cook food according to Ruth’s Chris standards and timing.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to the Chef.
• Restock food, condiments, and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and promptly report hazards.
