CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a dependable Line Cook for Independence Village Pella in Canada. This part-time position runs 10am–6pm, preparing meals for residents and guests according to planned menus and recipes.

You'll work with a friendly kitchen team, maintain high safety standards, ensure proper portions and garnishing, and keep the station clean and stocked for the next shift. Opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills are required.

Aufgaben

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and cooking status of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude supporting a team environment.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families, and guests.
• Maintain safety and sanitation following plans and policies.
• Present professional appearance with uniform and name tag.
