CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Line Cook for our StoryPoint Plano facility to prepare meals for residents, guests, and staff according to menus and recipes. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality, and adherence to planned events and service standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of line cook experience, plus strong communication skills. Prioritizes safety, cleanliness, and professional presentation in a fast-paced kitchen

• Good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Ensure proper seasoning and freshness of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude and support a team environment.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families and guests.
