As a Line Cook at Indian Summer Golf & Country Club, you will work in view of guests to prepare dishes and serve patrons with a friendly demeanor, maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized workspace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Follow recipes, preparation instructions, and presentation standards consistently.
  2. Be cross-trained to operate the point-of-sale system and prepare or serve alcoholic beverages when needed.
  3. Prepare items efficiently in the order they are received.
  4. Maintain standards of food quality and daily preparation of fresh ingredients.
  5. Maintain ingredient par levels for the kitchen and grab-and-go menu items.
  6. Ensure food safety regulations and safety standards are upheld at all times, demonstrating knowledge of food and beverage handling guidelines.
  7. Maintain effective communication with FOH and BOH team members.
  8. Deliver products to guests in a timely manner.
  9. Ensure a safe work environment, complying with OSHA/WISHA standards.
  10. Continuously seek ways to improve processes, procedures, and reduce costs.
  11. Assist with storing delivery items properly and managing monthly inventory.
  12. Uphold a clean and orderly appearance and wear the uniform at the start of each shift.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
  1. Experience as a short-order line cook, banquet cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
  2. Good knife handling skills and ability to operate standard kitchen equipment.
  3. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and common food items.
  4. Ability to multitask while focusing on key objectives.
  5. Proficiency in all stations of line work and short-order cooking.
  6. High School diploma or equivalent.
  7. Current Washington State Health Card and Mast 12 Alcohol Servers Permit.
Work Environment:

Team members must:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Be capable of lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping, and using arm-hand coordination regularly.
  • Stand for long periods.
Compensation:
  • Pay range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
  • Tips in addition to hourly wage.
  • Overtime eligibility.
