Compensation Range:

$18.29 - $23.00

The Alamo Kitchen Crew, including line cooks and dishwashers, are the heartbeat of our theaters. As a teammate in the Alamo Kitchen, you’re responsible for food preparation, following our high standards and recipes. A successful line cook ensures everything is in order—from station prep to maintaining a clean kitchen. You’ll prepare our recipes and plate them for presentation, enhancing the guest experience.

As individual contributors who value teamwork, our Kitchen Crew teammates strive to deliver an excellent culinary experience daily, understanding their role within the larger team.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold standards of behavior as defined by the company's core values, code of conduct, and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards and follow all protocols to keep teams and guests healthy; be knowledgeable about all policies and procedures.
  • Prepare food that looks and tastes delicious using high-quality ingredients.
  • Organize and prepare guest food tickets based on operational processes, focusing on safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Use tools such as measuring cups, scales, and other equipment as per protocols.
  • Follow cleaning schedules, prep lists, station stocking guides, and other kitchen systems to control food waste, production, and quality.
  • Communicate needs, concerns, and important points with teammates and managers regularly.
  • Support food and beverage order delivery as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume food production environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Active food handler certification as per state requirements.
  • Being an cinephile is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Comfort working in a kitchen environment with equipment like ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, fryers, steamers, mixers, and knives; exposure to heat, steam, noise, and cleaning solutions.
  • Operate in a busy, sometimes loud environment with caution.
