Job summary

You’ll prepare meals for residents using scratch techniques and work at sauté, grill, pantry and prep stations. Weekend and holiday availability is required; prior senior living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cooking experience (scratch cooking preferred).
• Experience with sauté, grill, pantry, and prep stations.
• Takes pride in preparing flavorful, quality food.
• Communicates well with coworkers, residents, and vendors.
• Depenable, positive, and accountable.
• Senior living experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality meals for residents using scratch cooking techniques where possible.
• Cook a variety of items including sauté, grill, pantry, and prep.
• Follow recipes to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to provide an outstanding dining experience.
• Help create a welcoming and caring atmosphere for residents.
